About Ipswich Care Counselling
Thank you for visiting Ipswich Care Counselling.
We are an Ipswich‑based practice offering person‑centred counselling both face to face and online via Google Meet. Our values are shaped by attunement, empathy, and respect. In session this looks like being present with you, listening deeply, and responding in ways that help you feel safe, seen, and understood. We support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and the emotional and relational impacts of their life story.
Our therapeutic approach integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma‑Focused ACT, Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. These modalities help you gently explore your inner world, understand the experiences that have shaped you, and take meaningful steps toward healing. We specialise in supporting those with attachment wounds, neurodivergence, and emotional overwhelm, offering a warm and open space where your story can be told at a pace that feels safe.
As a Christian practice, we recognise that healing often happens in the context of relationship; both with God, yourself and others. We honour your spiritual journey and create room for God’s presence, comfort, and wisdom to be part of the therapeutic process. We aim to offer a relational experience that helps you grow and find meaning out of suffering.
Together, we will explore your strengths, notice the patterns that shape your emotional world, and develop practical strategies that help you move toward regulation, resilience, and renewed hope. Our desire is to walk with you gently and faithfully as you grow in clarity, courage, and wholeness.
There is a path forward, and we would be honoured to walk it with you.
About Beth
I am a Christian counsellor who cares deeply about walking with people as they make sense of their inner world and find hope again. My approach is shaped not only by my training, but by my own journey of healing and learning to trust God’s steady presence in the midst of struggle. I know what it is to untangle old patterns, to seek clarity, and to discover that grace meets us in places we least expect.
This personal experience has formed the way I sit with others. I offer a gentle, grounded environment where you can slow down, feel heard, and explore your story with compassion. I value emotional honesty, attunement, and the slow, faithful work of growth. My desire is to help you notice what is happening inside, understand the deeper layers of your experience, and move toward resilience, connection, and a renewed sense of God’s care.
